Im not sure if you saw but Yuuki posted up something super interesting.
Something happened when she woke up; she said she remembered some things! Friends and stuff! She was super happy about the memory but also worried! I know bad things can happen if you talk about a shinki's past and all that stuff but I was wondering if anything like this has happened to you before or you knew anything about it?
Not too much. Mostly being around a bunch of friends. She could remember all their names too. They were all laughing together in front of a big tree.
She doesn't really know! Yuuki was pretty shaken up by it. She just woke up. She said she talked to Yukine but he sorta told her that it could be contagious and bad for other shinki. But.. i don't think so? She was super happy Bisha!
[ Gah, what IS it with these newbies? Why are their circumstances bending the rules of reality?! ]
Shinki are never supposed to remember anything about their past. The circumstances of their death would drive them to madness if that's what they happen to remember and I'm certain you understand how this wouldn't be good for either of you. But according to what you're telling me, this memory seems to have nothing to do with how she died.
Thats why i wanted to ask you about it. I'm not worried about this and I dont think its right to deny her memories if she's remembering on her own but I was also worried if anything would happen to her.
Nope! Nothing about her death at all. It was a happy memory about being around her friends. That's it! I didn't get stung or anything either.
As odd as these circumstances are, it doesn't seem to be worrying. Nevertheless, it probably wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on her either way just to make sure nothing comes of her suddenly regaining memories.
The minute you catch sight of any possible corruption, it would be best to attempt a ablution as soon as you can.
Is it okay for her to talk about it with others? Im sure the other shinki would be excited to figure a way to get some of their memories back, right? Some of the gods here are actually from the same world as those shinki and the fact they don't remember them really bites.
What's a ablution?
[Sorry Bishamon, her god-vocab isn't as refined as yours]
I understand where you're coming from but I would still advise against it. I know circumstances are different where you newcomers are concerned but it would probably be better to be safe than sorry. Even if the memory Yuuki regained was benign, who's to say it will be the same for every other shinki? It still poses that risk of unearthing the god's greatest secret.
An ablution is a purification ritual. Though it's usually used against a shinki that has corrupted their master to the point of blight, it might prove more effective than just dousing the area with holy water.
It's nothing to thank me for. After all, being brought here and suddenly having the responsibilities of a god placed upon you is a heavy burden. The more you understand, the easier it'll be for everyone.
As for Susano'o, no, I haven't seen him either. Come to think of it, he hasn't made contact recently. Though I did send Kinuha to deliver his share of the souvenirs Kazuma and I brought back and she did say they were received.
Thank you but it's only because I've been doing this so long that it's become second nature by now. And believe me, if the god of war was anything but tough, I'm sure I'd hear complaints about not doing my job properly.

I'll keep an eye out for him when my team and I do our patrol rounds. If left unchecked, who knows how much trouble he can cause. The last thing we want is his 'art' scattered around Tokyo.
im happy youre the god of war. i bet you can be super tough and stand tall but you're also really sweet Bishaa~! I give your job rating a A++! 10 outta 10
Maybe! Gatcha! Thanks for everything you're the best! if you guys want a break during patrol; come by my place! Ill make snacks and everything!
We wouldn't want to impose but thank you all the same.
And thank you for coming to me for this. I'd like to stay on top of everything that's happening now regarding all these newcomers and their shinki. It might help answer some questions down the line.
I hope it does. If we all work together, we should be able to figure stuff out right? The same goes for you too though! If you ever need help with anything just lemme know! I've got your back too!

No, I don't believe I've seen it yet. You said she remembered her friends? How much did she remember exactly?
