[ What is that incessant beeping? Who the hell is texting? JFC she's been out all day taking care of ayakashi can't a war god get any sleep? That does it. She's turning her phone off at night starting tomorrow.
Her response comes in a few minutes later because hey, checking the time and making sure she figures out how to use this phone properly. ]
Name the time and place. We're doing a brief sweep of the city before the fiendish hour at the moment but I can try to answer whatever questions you might have.
[ Hey, if he wants to talk now, that's fine too. Besides, she's eager to hear what Tsuzuki's found. ]
Ueno Park in half an hour? I'll be by the zoo entrance.
[He doesn't mind asking over text message, he just doesn't know cell phones well enough to know how easy it might be for someone to read those texts. Meeting up in a place swarming with mortals to talk face to face just seems safer.
Tsuzuki's increasingly convinced that he's not immune to whatever might've taken out his predecessor.]
[ She's gotta take the kids home with the family cat. Though she's actually considered taking Kazuma but... this sounds like the kind of conversation that would have him worrying on the way home so... she'll go alone. ]
[True to his word, Tsuzuki heads straight for the park, buys an ice cream cone from one of the vendors hanging out around the zoo entrance selling sweets to families out for the afternoon, and leans against a wall to finish it while he waits. The crows seem to be better at spotting him than the mortal humans, and one particularly stubborn one keeps hopping up and aiming for his soft serve.
At four-thirty, he's just taking the last bite of cone and flapping his arms at the ominously approaching crow. It's trying to bite his hand.]
What sort of trouble did you get yourself into this time?
[ It's the only logical conclusion she can draw. Clearly, Susano'o is up to no good. Why he keeps texting her about his shenanigans, she doesn't know but part of her is grateful. At least if anything major comes up, she'll know enough. ]
I have. It really is unfortunate. I hate leaving things without answers and with these gods disappearing as quickly as they appear, it certainly leaves us with more questions than we started with.
Unfortunately, there's nothing more I can offer on my end. Amaterasu has been evasive, to say the least. The first post she made on the network regarding the chocolate incident was the first time I've heard from her personally. in years.

"Don't get in too deep" is garbage!

I've almost perfected it!

I'll nail down that function. I'm > every god that came before.

You'll be zetta impressed. Just wait.

You won't be able to do much once a blight has taken hold. It's fatal at any percentage. Why?

Need to subtract a bullet to better my odds.

You know more about how this god thing works than I do!
[--and she also might know what could suddenly make so many of Tajimamori's devoted followers utterly forget their devotion.
And if that's the kind of thing that could kill a god.]

Not my trouble.
I worked out a proof that the full range of my divine power hasn't had anything subtracted.
Even the ones specific to that old vector.
Went on a bender. Bit Tajimamori. Made it rain. You missed a great party.

What did you do to Tajimamori?
[ She's all questions right now but she was never really one for small talk -- especially when a god she considered an ally was involved. ]
no subject
Heh. Gonna get the whip out, Bisha?
I didn't add him to the heap this time. Bet he didn't see that coming.
Shouldn't have been sneaking around my work.

Amaterasu won't give us a lot of details, so I wondered if the old gods were hearing more about it than we were.

It sounds like she's getting more involved with all of this stuff than usual.
[Which raises a ... weird question. It's all been on the network. How do they know it's really her?]
Does it sound like her to you? The way she writes on the network?
